We are proud to announce our latest addition to the racing team: 2025 Foil Slalom World Champion Matteo Iachino
Born in Savona in 1989, Matteo started windsurfing at the age of 8 thanks to his dad. Ever since, life in the ocean has been at the heart of everything he does. From windsurfing and surfing to swimming and diving. He entered his first slalom competition at 16 on freestyle gear just to give it a try, and from that moment on, he was hooked.
Matteo turned professional at 23, earning his first PWA podium and breaking into the top 10 on the World Tour. Since then, he has built an incredible career with four world titles to his name. Three PWA world titles and one speed world title as well as six PWA vice-world champion finishes. What makes that even more impressive is that he still carries the same passion for windsurfing and the ocean as when he first started and he is definitely hungry for more.
