A SHORT GUIDE TO FOILING

The physics of foiling is simple. Wing shapes create lift. The faster the wing moves through the water, the more lift is created. When the lift force is greater than the weight of the rider, board and foil, the board lifts out of the water and rides on the foil. It's the same principle that allows airplanes to fly.

Our foils are made from high pressure molded prepreg carbon. This is a superior material to aluminum because of its stiffness-to-weight ratio. The stiffer the foil, the more control and feedback you have. The lighter the foil, the less drag and the easier it is to ride.

All our foils feature an interchangeable base system, allowing you to use the same foil across different boards - from wing boards to SUP boards to windsurf boards.
