SPEEDSTER EVO

ULTIMATE FREERACE REDEFINED

  • Sleek, cam-free slalom with the look and insane performance of a pure race sail.
  • Super fast blasting, jibing and easy waterstarting.
  • Designed for fin, suitable for foil.
  • 6 battens in 5.0-7.0, 7 battens in 7.5 & 8.0.

Introducing the Speedster EVO—a totally re-imagined sail that brings full race DNA into a cam-free design. Blending the triple-panel luff sleeve, airflow-optimized design, and window layout inspired by the record-setting RS:Racing EVO, this sail achieves unmatched acceleration, lightness, and stability—while enhancing maneuverability for jibes and waterstarts.

Compared to the original Speedster, Speedster EVO achieves a new level of lightweight handling thanks to a shorter boom and our dynamic batten concept: 6 battens in 5.0-7.0, 7 battens in 7.5 & 8.0. It also utilizes exactly the same material spec of our pure racing sails.

For freerace speed fans, this is the most advanced cam-less sail we’ve ever built.

Designed for fin but equally awesome on foil!

Design Driven

INNOVATION

Designed and tested at our NeilPryde Maui Design Center by Robert Stroj, then further developed through our team riders' feedback from across the world. No stone is left uncovered in our relentless drive to be the best at what we do.

HIGHLIGHTS

SPEEDSTER EVO

AIRFLOW TUBULAR BATTENS

Directly derived from our slalom R&D, our airflow batten layout reduces drag and increases speed. Tubular battens offer light weight and optimum stability.

INTERNALLY PRINTED

Internally printed, laminated panels. Lightweight and durable.

ULTRA CLEAR WINDOW

Light weight and extra clear.

TRIPLE PANEL LUFF

Identical construction to our full-fledged race sails, the triple panel luff allows the sail to maintain stability and profile through the gusts and maintain maximum speed and control at all times.

Sail Features

Slalom Without Cams

Speedster EVO takes its entire design directly from the RS:Racing series of sails and, as such, is the fastest NeilPryde sail without cams.

Ease of Use

Light-weight, stable profile and easy to rig, gybe and waterstart.

Fin or Foil

Equally at home on foil or fin, Speedster will allow you to get the most out of every session and power past your friends, no matter where you are.

7 Batten Layout

6 battens in 5.0-7.0 and 7 battens in 7.5 and 8.0 layout to provide ultimate stability, speed and control even when fully overpowered, while keeping weight to a minimum.

Robert Stroj

„Developing the Speedster EVO, our high-performance no-cam freeride sail, was both challenging and rewarding. Drawing from years of RS:Racing EVO development, we focused on combining top speed, control and handling with easy maneuverability. Key features like a high aspect ratio, multiple taffeta luff panels and a seamless leading-edge sleeve deliver early planing, smooth jibes and tacks, and excellent top-end control.

I’m very happy with the result.“

Maciek Rutkowski

“After trying the new Speedster EVO I really started hoping the PWA would ban cambers so I can spend more time on it! It’s light, direct, trims the board well and in certain conditions can be as fast as the RS:Racing with half the effort! For me this sail personifies what flatwater windsurfing is really about: going fast, jibing easy and flying on the fin with very little effort!”
