New EF BACK WINGS
The Glide Swift Carbon front wings in sizes 800, 1000 and 1200 now ship with the new EF Back Wing. Slimmer profile, less drag, more speed and glide efficiency, for a livelier, high-performance feel. Same trusted front wing, sharper edge.
Glide Swift Carbon Set
For the new season, the new EF Back Wings replace the previous Swift Back Wing in sizes 800, 1000 and 1200 – slimmer profiles, less drag, more glide and speed. The 800 set now runs a shorter 60 fuselage for a tighter, more agile ride. Same allrounder, tuned sharper.

Building on 35 years of sail and yacht design experience, Nils was one of the first designers to begin experimenting with performance foils back in the late 90s.
His interest in foil design was really sparked when surf foiling and downwind foiling started to become popular and he has been working closely on the cutting edge of foil design with some of the worlds best athletes for over 10 years.
Nils rejoined the NeilPryde design team to create our first wing, the Fly and is proud to have designed our latest NeilPryde Foil, the Glide Swift.
What are the major advancements from Glide HP wings?
This is a departure from the original Glide foil concept. The Glide Swift is a medium / high aspect ratio foil which combines the glide and performance of high aspect ratio foils with the ease of use of medium aspect ratio foils.
Front Wing Details
The carbon front wing, which features an inflected leading edge with outer high-aspect sections and a moderate center sweep, maximizes agility and helps to control hard turns. The low-drag wingtips reduce drag and decrease the risk of injury.
Back Wing Details
The tail is a swept wing design with turned up wing tips. It's optimized for a balance between speed, stability and turning. In terms of stability it punches above its weight for the area due to the sweep. At the same time, it offers extremely responsive yet forgiving turning.
Variable Aspect Ratio
The aspect ratio of the front wings changes from 9.1 in the smallest 600cm2 wing to 7.3 in the biggest 1450 cm2 wing. This allows us to maximize the glide in each size without the larger wings becoming difficult to turn and control.
Technical Advancements
The super stiff carbon mast and optimized mast-fuselage connection provide maximum speeds and a direct steering feel with their high stability.
The integrated blended-fuselage connection reduces drag and improves stiffness by increasing chord thickness at the fuse.
The turned up, rounded wing tips deliver optimum performance while reducing the risk of injury.
