Huge congratulations to our team rider Yentel Caers!
Yentel finished third in the overall 2026 PWA Freestyle World Championship after the season finale at the Citroën Windsurf World Cup on Sylt! 🇧🇪
Yentel came into the season as the reigning world champion, and he spent the whole year at the very top of the sport. A third place overall is a seriously strong result in the toughest, most competitive freestyle fleet we have ever seen, where the generations are fighting it out and every single heat counts. He battled with the best in the world, pushed the level higher with every heat, and stood on the World Championship podium once again. That kind of consistency is what makes a true legend.
Sylt is never easy, and this year it tested everyone’s patience. The freestyle event came down to one proper wind window with an offshore easterly. The fleet had to ride well out from the beach, and the final heats could not be completed because there just wasn’t enough wind. In those conditions, every heat is a big moment, and Yentel went out full throttle from the start of the event. He opened with a high-scoring run, broke the 30-point mark, and showed exactly why he is one of the most progressive freestylers of his generation. 💥
Three world titles, countless podiums and a never-ending hunger to progress the sport, and Yentel is still setting the standard that everyone else chases. It was an epic battle all season.
Yentel, we are so proud of you, and we can’t wait to see what comes next! 🤙
