CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR RACERS!

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR RACERS!

MEN'S

Massive congratulations to our amazing racing team for a phenomenal performance this year across the globe, culminating in a spectacular final event in Yokosuka Miura, Japan.

In the Men's overall title race, Pierre and Maciek took 2nd and 3rd on the overall podium for the year, having competed outstandingly in Guadeloupe, Sylt and Japan.

The racing in Japan was anything but easy, with super light winds for the first few days and then some of the most extreme, high-wind foil racing we have seen on the final day.

Pierre and Maciek raced solidly throughout the 4 eliminations, with Pierre ending the event on equal points with 2nd place finisher Matteo Iacchino, but taking 3rd place due to the tie-breaking rule of who has the highest discard.

Maciek finished right behind them in 4th place and both sailors showed excellent consistency by making every winners final throughout the event.

WOMEN'S

A very special congratulations goes to our incredible young talent from Bonaire, Bobbi-Lynn De Jong. At just 15 years of age, Bobbi-Lynn competed alongside the adults in all the PWA racing events this year and achieved an incredible 6th place in the Women's Foil and 5th place in the Women's Slalom X.

Even more incredibly, she won the U21 division of both Slalom and Foil Slalom, putting on a dominating performance every time she entered a race!

The Youth Slalom World Tour took the riders on a truly world-wide journey from Aruba to Bonaire, Denmark, Turkey and then Miami.

Bobbi Lynn attended 4 of these events and stamped her authority on the fleet by winning every one she entered.

The De Jung family had a stellar year on tour, with Bobbi-Lynn, Kit and Lone finishing 1, 2 and 3 in the U21 Fin Slalom overall and 1, 2 and 4 in the U21 Foil Slalom discipline. Truly a family force to be reckoned with!!

That's it for our 2025 PWA Season. Congratulations to everyone who took part and put on such a spectacular show for us all to watch. Thank you to the organizers around the world who pour their hearts and souls into bringing us the intense action that only World Cup Windsurfing events can provide!

Wishing everyone a very happy end to their 2025 season. May our racers, freestylers and wave sailors take a well deserved break and we will look forward to seeing you all again in the 2026 season!
