How can I buy your products? 

As a general rule, Neilpryde is not selling Windsurfing nor Waterwear and Accessories product directly via the website. We do however at times sell some clearance products. I saw that a product was available online but now is not anymore available, what to do next?

As a general rule, Neilpryde is not selling Windsurfing nor Waterwear and Accessories product directly via the website. We do however at times sell some clearance products. These you can generally always find here: https://www.neilpryde.com/collections/clearance. If the product that you were planning to purchase shows as “OUT OF STOCK”- please contact us at Neilpryde via the contact form and we will check if there is more stock available of that particular product.

Why don't you have prices on your website?

Where can I buy Marketing and Apparel items indicated on the website?

I have ordered an Item, what will happen next and how long does it take until I receive it?


Thank you first of all for your order, usually, it takes about a week to process and send the item out for shipping.
You will receive a shipping confirmation once your order is sent out for shipping.
At all times, after an order is placed you will receive an order confirmation, please check your inbox, as well as spam inbox, to see if you received it.
If you should have not received an order confirmation, please reach out to us, via the contact form, to see if your order was processed.

Why does it show that I cannot put a product into my basket?

As a general rule, Neilpryde is not selling Windsurfing nor Waterwear and Accessories products directly via the website. We do however at times sell some clearance products. For all other products where you do not see the basket icon, you will not be able to place them in your basket. I am a professional wind/kitesurfer and am looking for a professional sports sponsorship with NeilPryde Windsurf or Waterwear - How and where can I apply for a sponsorship?

As a general rule we at NeilPryde are always interested to get to know prospect athletes and support watersports professionals. We are always renewing or starting new sponsorship contracts towards the end of each year, around September. This is generally the best time to reach out and apply. Who are we looking for? Literally everyone who is professionally practicing the sports. There are usually two options, either to become a national team rider or an international team rider. We recommend to reach out via our contact form with your motivation letter, a CV, outlining why you would be a perfect fit for our brand. We will get back to you after carefully reviewing the application.

Masts FAQs

 

Can I rig a NeilPryde Sail with a mast of another brand as well?

We do not recommend to rig NeilPryde sails with masts of other brands. Every NeilPryde sail will perform to its highest potential when used with the specified NeilPryde mast, because our sails are designed around our mast curves. Using a mast of another brand can influence the performance of the sail in a negative way. Therefore NeilPryde does not warranty its sails if they are rigged with other than a NeilPryde Mast. When do I use SDM or RDM masts?

The NeilPryde RDM masts are comparable in its curve with NeilPryde SDM masts. Choose an RDM mast for a softer, more forgiving feel and durability. Choose an SDM mast for faster response, stability and more direct feel. We recommend the use of SDM masts on cambered sails: https://www.neilpryde.com/pages/masts
 

Are current masts also compatible with previous sail models?

What is the difference between the carbon percentages in the masts?

Higher performance level masts will have higher carbon content reducing the weight of the mast, as well as significantly increasing the interplay between mast and sail and its overall performance. Please find more information here: https://www.neilpryde.com/pages/masts


How to subscribe your mast for the 2+1 warranty? 

NeilPryde warrants that TPX and SPX masts, when purchased by a customer from an authorized NeilPryde dealer, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of purchase by the original retail customer. A warranty extension of twelve (12) months, giving a total of thirty-six (36) months, may be obtained by registering your mast online (https://www.neilpryde.com/pages/mast-warranty-registration

Can I replace only one part of the mast?

We at NeilPryde are aiming at selling only the best and longest lasting products. If your mast broke in one part, due to e.g. mishandling, you might wonder if you can simply replace only the broken section of the mast. We do not recommend this, as it is very likely that the upper part of the new mast may not fit to the original bottom part and vice versa, therefore we suggest to check specific cases with your local repair shop, which you can find via our

How do I find the right product for my needs?

On our website you can find detailed product explanations. In some of our product videos we also explain differences between products and the specialties of products. For instance, you will find videos on our sails, that explain differences amongst the V8 and Speedster or Fly and Combat. If you still have doubts about which product to buy after having read the product description and seen the videos, please best visit one of our NeilPryde dealers to get more information and a possible fitting of our product. How do I protect my gear from wear and tear?

How can I get information about rigging my sail correctly?

Are all harnesses coming with a hook? 

As of 2019 all our NeilPryde Harnesses come with a spreader bar. Please refer to the product page on the website.

I am looking for a WaterWear product for a child, where can I check and compare sizes?

Where can I see for which water temperatures the WaterWear products are made?

We have indicated the water temperatures each wetsuit is suited for within the product descriptions of each wetsuit product page.

     
When should I wear a hooded wetsuit? 

We recommend wearing a hooded wetsuit in icy water/wind conditions from 0 to 9 C/ 32-48 F and/or below. Our models for these conditions are the Recon Fullsuit Hood FZ6/5/3 (https://www.neilpryde.com/collections/recon/products/recon-fullsuit-hood-fz-6-5-3) and the Cortex Fullsuit Hood FZ 6/5/4 (https://www.neilpryde.com/collections/cortex/products/cortex).

 
When should I wear neoprene booties?

Our neoprene booties are made for cold waters as well as protection. We recommend using these during your sport or to complete your gear.

 
Are Neilpryde booties thin enough to not lose the feeling of the board?

Our NeilPryde Waterwear booties are specifically designed for Wind- and Kitesurfing, therefore we recommend the use of them. We believe they offer the closest feeling of being barefoot.

 
May I use my NeilPryde wetsuit also for other watersports, such as surfing, SUPing, Kitesurfing?

Our NeilPryde wetsuits offer you the best protection in wind and water. They are made from the best materials and technologies to especially support you during watersports that are being practiced above the water such as windsurfing or kitesurfing. Having that said, we strongly believe that our wetsuits will protect you the best way also when you are surfing. They are made from stretchy materials and will give you the best support.

 
I bought a Neilpryde wetsuit, how do I ensure it will be in good condition for a very long time?

Our NeilPryde wetsuits are made from best materials and with a lot of care.  They are made to be durable. Nevertheless, and as the suits are used in tough outdoor conditions usually, Sun and UV rays will damage neoprene eventually, as it is a natural material. Ensure you hang your wetsuit in the shade to dry after every session. 
After every session, rinse your wetsuit with fresh water.
Do not let your wetsuit dry on the hanger so as not to damage the neoprene at the shoulders.

 
I am missing a specific product in the  product range. Is there anything I can do?

Foiling FAQs

 

I am new to Windsurf foiling, which foil would be perfect to start with?

When you are just starting to foil, we recommend to use e.g. the glide wind or Flight AL, both foils offer a lot of stability and an early take-off to let you experience the feeling of flying over the water. Please check the product sections to learn more about the product and for which type of watersport it is ideal.


 
Can I use your Foil with a non-reinforced Powerbox?

We do not recommend to do so. This is due to the fact that the foils are putting a lot of force onto the powerbox, which can lead to damages. However, at this stage we also do not offer a reinforced Powerbox available as spare part.

I have purchased a 2018 SR Flight AL foil and would like to buy the 2019 new wings, will these wings fit?

The Flight AL 2019 Foil wings are interchangeable with the previous Flight AL Foil. If you want to purchase new wings, or foil spare parts in general, please look for a retailer close to you via our store locator: https://www.neilpryde.com/apps/store-locator

 
WARRANTY PROCEDURES 

I am not satisfied with the quality of my NeilPryde wetsuit. What can I do?

We always give our best to manufacture the best wetsuits on the market, but unfortunately sometimes mistakes can happen, as the suits are handmade. If you bought a wetsuit that is not up to our quality expectations, please handle this with the retailer you have purchased the wetsuit at.
Dealers must call for a Return Authorization Number before returning any product under this Limited Warranty. We are reviewing every warranty case carefully.
 

How is the warranty procedure of wetsuits?

All returns must be made through NeilPryde authorized dealers. NeilPryde does not accept returns directly from consumers. Dealers must call for a Return Authorization Number before returning any product under this Limited Warranty. All authorized returns must be sent to NeilPryde's Warranty Center at the country's main distribution warranty office, freight prepaid. Return shipment will either be consolidated together with the authorized dealers next shipment, or paid by NeilPryde, at NeilPryde's sole option. If your wetsuit is damaged or you would like to open a warranty case, please get in touch with the shop of purchase. For every warranty procedure a copy of the invoice is obligatory. The dealer will inform you if there is any other information required.

How can I check the status of an already requested warranty?

Regarding the status of your warranty, please check with your retailer of purchase. The retailer will be able to give you updates and information of your open warranty case. 
 

Can I claim my warranty/or a return if I can’t find the invoice of the product anymore?

Please always keep the invoice of each NeilPryde purchased product to claim your warranty. If you haven’t kept the invoice, please check with the retailer where you got your product on their return policy.
