Massive Congratulations to Yentel Caers for finishing off 2025 with a final piece of hardware to truly prove his dominance over the 2025 Freestyle Season.
Yentel was the first person to unite the PWA World Tour and FPT European Freestyle Championships crowns back in 2019 and this year he did it again, in spectacular style!

The Belgian powerhouse closed the Freestyle Pro Tour (FPT) season in spectacular fashion during the final event on Naxos, Greece, showing once more why he’s one of the most complete and explosive riders in the world.

A Masterclass in Tow-In Freestyle
With the wind not quite strong enough for classic fin freestyle, all eyes turned to the Tow-In discipline — the perfect stage for Yentel’s power and control, and with an all-or nothing format in the final, there was nothing to hold back. Each rider had 3 runs to post their best performance with only the very best move counting in the end.
He opened his final run with a flawless Air Funnell–Funnell–Burner combo, followed by a stylish Burner 360 off the wave. But the highlight came when he launched into his signature move — the Double Air Culo — spinning cleanly through both rotations and landing perfectly. The crowd went wild, and the judges rewarded him with a perfect 10 — the highest score of the event.

That performance sealed yet another victory for Yentel, ahead of Takumi Moriya (JPN) and Tigo Kort (NED).
Tigo had showed absolute dominance throughout the event, winning every qualifying round but just came a little short in the final, proving however, that he will be a force to be reckoned with in the coming years!

Earlier in the week, Yentel also shined in the Foilstyle Super Session, taking an impressive second place behind local hero Lennart Neubauer. These strong results capped off an outstanding season where Yentel proved his versatility across all freestyle formats — fin, foil, and tow-in alike.
With his Naxos victory, Yentel secured the 2025 Freestyle Pro Tour European Title, confirming his dominance on the continent and cementing his position as one of the sport’s all-time greats.
