With a passion for windsurfing ignited in 1981, Andy Laufer is known for his extravagant lifestyle and wild parties between 1986 and 2005, adding another dimension to his legendary status within the windsurfing community. Despite his wild lifestyle during those years, Andy still managed to achieve several top 10 World Cup results, showcasing his exceptional talent and determination in the waves.
In addition to his exploits on the water, Andy is renowned for his captivating POV videos, which have been showcasing the beauty of windsurfing since 2015. His talents were recognized with a notable win in the GoProMillionDollarChallenge in 2020, marking a significant milestone in his career.

Off the water, Andy cherishes his role as a father to three children. Balancing his passion for windsurfing, snowboarding and skiing with family life, he embodies the spirit of adventure and dedication.

Furthermore, Andy plays a crucial role in the development of prototype slalom and speed boards for JP-Australia.

Despite his multifaceted pursuits, Andy remains one of the fastest windsurfers to date, reaching speeds over 100 km/h, breaking the Germany Speed Record in 2019.
