Precision Crafted Performance
The legendary Combat is the go-to choice for wave performance and all-around versatility. It features the revolutionary Forceline Frame construction for dynamic load and shape control and even more durability. Combining high-end performance and construction with handling that is signed off by the best sailors on the planet, the Combat will take you and your sailing to the next level.
Versatile: Moderate and progressive luff curve for optimum maneuverability, speed and power in both onshore and side-shore conditions.
Central Moderate Profile for optimum balance between upwind power and stability. With a lot of aerial control it’s ideal for big jumps.
Wide Wind Range: A large tuning range, thanks to a stable profile, allows the rider to trim the sail for all conditions.
Construction: Forceline Frame – connected tack, foot, clew and corner loads.
All wave sails have increased skin tension this year, which gives wider range. Combat is now a perfect combination of power and wave riding ability. Softness is retained in the 4.7m and below.
“Sophisticated power delivery and awesome dynamic handling that’s ideal for all types of conditions, body type and abilities of wave sailor.”
“Efficace et saine.”
“…just the right dose of power.”
“…bon dosage de sa puissance.”
I have chosen the Combat for the tour. This sail meets all my performance demands and is powerful and smooth at the same time. I can get all the height I need for large aerials and still ride the faces with full freedom. There are no limits with the Combat in my hands.
The Combat matches my style and ambition. It’s so versatile that in any tour venue I get what I need from the sail. I know the Combat will work perfectly wherever we go to compete and in whatever conditions, be it on-shore or side-shore. I use both versions, the HD when it’s closing out and the clear version when the waves are cleaner and I need total visibility.
