Albeau smashes the record again with 51.69 knots

Strong winds returned to Luderitz on Day 6 and with them the records tumbled again. Antoine Albeau, having crossed the 50 knot barrier several times set an incredible new windsurfing speed record to 51.69 knots. Anders Bringdal, who is also riding the all-new RS:Racing EVOV, trails very closely behind with 51.34 knots which is the new Swedish and Production Board record. Several other riders crossed the 50 knot barrier as well during what was the best day of the speed challenge so far.

Next big day is forecast to be on Wednesday. Will we see the record go again?
